With over 700 titles and growing, the Asymmetry Library is a specialist collection that centres Chinese and Sinophone contemporary art, as well as curatorial knowledge and independent arts publishing. Conceived as both a repository and a catalyst for critical dialogue, it is a dynamic site for experimental research, collective knowledge-making, and the amplification of underrepresented voices from diasporic communities. The collection includes reference books, exhibition catalogues, periodicals, monographs, zines, and audiovisual materials, reflecting our ongoing programmes and dialogues with an expanding network of fellows, scholars, and researchers. The library is open by appointment.

Appointments are available Tuesdays to Thursdays, with two slots daily:

11am–2pm or 2–5pm. To make a booking, please email library@asymmetryart.org with your full name, a brief introduction to your interests or research purpose, and your preferred date and time slot (at least 24 hours in advance).
