Zoe Diao

Zoe Diao is a New York-based scholar and curator whose research spans environmental humanities, material culture and collecting histories. She is currently an associate researcher of global art at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and supports independent art-historical projects. Zoe was Assistant Curator at UCCA, Beijing; Specialist at Xiling Yinshe Auction; and Exhibition Manager at Long March Space. Curatorial highlights include William Kentridge: Notes Towards a Model Opera, UCCA, Beijing (2015) and New Directions: Li Ming, UCCA, Beijing (2015–16). She holds an MA in Museum Anthropology from Columbia University and a BA in Art History from the China Academy of Art.

Zoe Diao was the 2021 Asymmetry Curatorial Fellow at Whitechapel Gallery.
