Watch our third event as part of The Asymmetry Distinguished Lecture Series 2024: 'Critical Habitats' at the Courtauld Institute of Art. Titled ‘Offerings for Escalante,' the artist duo Enzo Camacho and Ami Lien introduced a new body of work created between various cities of their durational exhibition and the Philippines, including the film Langit Lupa (2023). It is the culmination of the artist duo's many years of fieldwork on the plantation island of Negros and their extensive investigation into the ongoing struggles for food sovereignty and land justice across borders.
