Yu'an Huang is an independent curator working between Taipei, London and Berlin. Her relational social-sculpture projects reflect transnational, post-globalisation experience and often centre cross-cultural collaboration. Yu’an co-founded LOA Gallery, London (2018), and has staged exhibitions at The Guardian’s Hall, London (2012); Hackney Wicked Festival, London (2013); and National Taiwan Fine Arts Museum, Taichung (2015). She has spoken at National Taiwan University Art Fair (2015) and Art NPO Poşe, Istanbul (2020), and consults on relocation and cross-cultural issues for Documenta artist Tseng Yu-Chin. Yu’an earned a BA from Chelsea College of Arts and studied Art Business at Sotheby’s Institute.
Yu’an Huang was the 2021 Asymmetry Curatorial Writing Fellow at Chisenhale Gallery.
